India’s Best Statue | Jatayu Earth Center
In the last few years Indian Govt. wasted our tax-paid money for constructing statues. Sometimes those were crossed 3000Cr. or 4000Cr. We don’t how many of these types f statues will construct in the future.
I visit Kerala, Trivandrum to experience the most unique statue in 2020. Not in India, also It’s the most unique and eco-friendly in the world. In this article, I want to share my experience to visit this place.
To reach the statue’s spot you have to take the cable car. Also, there is a mountain zigzag path to get into the statue. First I like to say that, this statue was not developed with Govt’s money. It’s fully funded by a private organization. There are so many tourist attractions like a rainforest, an adventure park, natural caves, a traditional hilling center, and a temple. The temple has constructed at the height of 1000 ft from the ground. There are also have Lord Sree Rama’s footprint”. And all of these developed with 100 Cr. only.
The color of this statue used to change at sunrise and sunset time. This most unique designed statue turned red in the sunset. The normal color is Gray. A fully drained system works when heavy rain comes and waters automatically pass through the forest.
Rajiv anchal, who is the main designer and director of this sculpture. From the eye of the statue, you can see the whole forest and sunrise/sunset. It has been officially opened for the public in February 2020. Normally forests are cut down due to the heavy construction of the big statue. But in this case, the whole area behind the statue was reforesting and planting thousands of trees to make the environment balanced. Before the start of construction, there had only grassland. There had no water ecosystem for the whole year except in the rainy season. But nowhere is enough water available. Organizations store enough water through a harvesting system. They have also a few more new concepts with nature. That will be constructed later. They leased this place from Govt for 30 years. After 30 years Kerala Govt owns this attraction and Statue.
The meaning of this statue is “Jatayu”, who was the lifesaver of load Sita. This statue also the significance of women’s safety. There are so many activities which will blow your mind. Like Zip lining, Rappeling, Archery, Log-walk, and Shooting. This attraction will be a lesson for Govt. that most unique sculptures can be developed with less amount of money and are also eco-friendly.
Historic Value: According to the epic, the demon Ravana was abducting the goddess Sita to Lanka when Jatayu tried to rescue her. Jatayu fought valiantly with Ravana, but as Jatayu was very old Ravana soon defeated him, clipping his wings, and Jayatu fell onto the rocks in Chadayamangalam. Rama and Lakshmana while on the search for Sita, chanced upon the stricken and dying Jatayu, who informed them of the battle with Ravana and told them that Ravana had headed South. Jatayu then died of his wounds and Rama performed his final funeral rites.
